If you live in PDX you know that today was perfect as can be. Today was extra special for Shawn and I. Shawn actually is adopted and we had the pleasure of meeting his father's sisters (Shawn's Aunts), Nancy and Sue. We had kind of known them but got to sit down to a lovely meal together. Shawn's younger brother Crosby was there as well. We loved hearing about Shawn's parents, John and Cheryl. Also had some laughs about the "Benner Brows"...see pictures below.

The meet up couldn't have been nicer and hopefully there will be many more in the near future.

Got a new lens the other day and these were the first shots taken with it. We have an engagement shoot tomorrow so check back in to see the top shots.

Eggs and Ham | Bonnie

We spent Easter at my Aunt and Uncles'. We are still considered the kids in the family, but had a good time making inside jokes, eating ham, and taking pictures as usual.

Two of my Favorite Ladies by Shawn

Went on a fun shoot with my wife and our mom. They had both been wanting pictures together so we took advantage of the break in dreary weather and braved the chilly breeze. Shot locally in Oregon City, and had a great time. I finally learned where Bonnie gets her crazy behavior :)

Having an engagement shoot this weekend so check back soon. Hoping to get 'thesidewalkproject' going, and will hopefully be accompanied by a one Ryan Lane, a superb local photographer.
