Road Trip 09 | Days 3/4/5

Day 3: Today we spent our time scavenging through San Francisco. This part of our trip we like to call WALKING. We walked for miles and miles through the streets/hills of San Francisco. We started the day by going to the crookedest street in the world, walking around Fisherman's Wharf, taking the cable car across town, walking to the Castro, walking to Haight/Ashbury, and then eventually walking back to Russian Hill/giving up on walking and getting on a city bus (where the car was located in a risky 2 hour parking zone that we did not return to for over 4...), running up the steepest street in the world, running down the tourist packed crooked street, just to find a parking official writing us a ticket. Then we proceeded to run to the car, not make eye contact with said parking official, and get in the car and speed away. He didn't get the chance to put a parking ticket on our car...THANK GOD! Then we headed over to the Golden Gate Bridge to take some pictures and relax for a brief moment. Here are some pictures from our adventure!

Day 4/5: Today we started our two day Disneylandawesomeness. We started in the California park and then switched over to the main park. It was a day of laughter and fun and generally feeling like geeks for having so much fun and being two adults at Disney that didn't have kids. We had so much fun going on all the rides and taking in all of the amazing creativity that Disneyland has to offer. It was really a great time and we are already talking about coming back. Here are some favorites!

Roadtrip 09 | Day One + Two

Just yesterday we hit the road for our big trip of 09. We decided along the way that it might be fun to chronicle our adventures.

We will try to blog once per day, wifi permitting. This trip has given us good reasons to buy iPhones so we can tether our computers... alot of sad moments searching for internet in random parking lots ;-).

So here's what we have done so far...

Day One | On Sunday we slowly trudged out of the house after ALOT of playing with the dogs and pulling together odds and ends. When we finally made it out of the house we set course for a campsite near Crater Lake. Most of Sunday was driving and then we finally made it to the Joseph Stewart Campground. We highly recommend it there because there is a lovely trail that afforded us these beautiful views and pictures.

Day Two | Another big day of driving. We got up bright and early and then headed to Crater Lake. We were not disappointed and the $10 we spent for a 7-day pass we used for 20 minutes just to have our car battery die because Shawn left the car lights on (someone back me up...car lights during the day?!?!) was more than worth it because we got these shots...

A mere 6-7 hours later we found ourselves searching for internet so we could find a hotel in San Francisco, which we accomplished! We headed to a small chinese restaurant and had a small and quiet dinner together...yay for US time!

We will try to catch you all tomorrow! Now we are going to settle in for some Weeds and get some much needed rest!!!

Suzanne + Eric | Thank You

About a month ago we had the opportunity to photograph Suzanne and Eric's amazing wedding. Not only were they a great couple to work with, but so were their friends and family. We received a very special thank you from them just week ago and wanted to share it with all of you!

Min + Jon | Thank You

Just over a month ago we had the unique pleasure of shooting Min and Jon's Wedding at the Beach. They are both down to earth people that we love to be around. In response to the photos we sent them, we received this email. It's messages like these that lets us know we are doing something right!

Heath + Victoria | Married

Heath + Victoria got hitched up at Mt. Hood Organic Farms. They were pretty pimpin and the Ingersolls definitely liked their style. When it came to pictures they brought the awesome sauce and all we had to do was bring our cameras. They define 'casual' and that makes us love them more...

Here are some favorites of the day!
